Cool looking cars.
Quote from che.
"You can use assists and still get certified times. Certified times are always placed above uncertified times on any given scoreboard. The only assist you can't use to get a certified time is Gameplay Rewind. Your lap will also become uncertified if you go off track, hit another car, hit a wall, etc. For those wishing to climb the scoreboards in FM3, the stakes are much higher in your hotlaps this time around. Clean racing is a must."
I also heard from him to mark Sept 24th on our calendar's. Good chance FM3 demo comes out that day. We'll see.

But it's real fun when people come walking up and ask what's wrong with the car. ;D

I used to have to have a supercharged Saleen S281 and I loved the way it sounded. I love the whistling of a turbo much more though.

Wow that's awesome.Well Aintrite the Veyron starts out in R3 so that sorta sucks. The paint editor is about a bajillion times better, thankfully, and the storefront has definitely killed the sellers.I love the way you can search in the auction house now that will save a ton of time. Also he said there's "only" 1000 layers still.Did anyone notice that when he loaded a vinyl group, first of all now there's pictures of the saved group, that's great, but it seemed like it only took up 1 layer, maybe I missed something.I love the grid thing that's going to save so much time,no having to keep zooming in on a mini's roof. All in all.........................Is it October yet?I can't wait much longer. It's going to be strange leaving Forza 2 after so long but Holy smelly pile o poo does that game look great. The only thing that I was disappointed with was that there wasn't any driver animation in the car ,like shifting, other than steering.I thought someone said the driver would look like he was shifting,oh well no biggie I drive outside the car anyway!!!!

Nevermind I just went back and noticed it says next to the picture 1-61 and the next layer up is 62,so one more cool thing is that there's no highlighting a hundred layers at a time, they all show up as the layer group...........

The storefront has definitely killed the sellers. lol sure sounds like it. Instead of spending so much freaking time building, I'll race more often and try to become a test driver or something. Who knows. Even though they killed the sellers, I'm still excited for this game.

from che:
"FUN FACT: The entire intro video with the Challenger taking off at the end was captured in-game and not during replay. Basically, we detached the camera from the back of the car in 3rd person view and scripted it to do flybys and choreographed moves. These are essentially in-game graphics with no added AA, etc. We had considered doing a CG rendered intro video but felt confident that the game looked good enough to just do it all in-game in real-time."
