As you may remember there were no NASCAR 2010 video game, due to the fact that EA Sports and NASCAR parted ways.
Every NASCAR Video Game fan has been waiting, and wandering if there would ever be another one again; and there are rumors there will be.
I have learned from a reliable source that there is a NASCAR video game in the works, to be released in February of 2011.
The only information I know right now, is as follows.
1. It will be released by Activision, which is the creator of series such as Call of Duty, Guitar Hero, and the Tony Hawk video games. So we should expect a lot from them.
Sadly though on their website the only games in the "racing" category is Hot Wheels Battle Force 5, and Madagascar Kartz; which are both cartoon games, based off of Television shows.
This may be Activision's big debut with a real racing game.
2. It will be available for the three major gaming systems; Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and the Nintendo Wii.
It has not been determined if there will be a PC version available.
3. The people doing the voice over are Doug Rice, and Mark Garrow, which work for the Performance Racing Network. As you may remember EA Sports used the Motor Racing Network to do the voice over for every NASCAR game they made; so this is a major change on the business side of things.
4. And as I mentioned before the release date should be in February of 2011. About 2 weeks before the Daytona 500.
Just a reminder: this is all based on rumors from multiple sources. I will post more information as I get it.
